They're doing good things with Iris deep in the heart of La France profonde. In fact they're doing good things with Salvia, Lavender and many things that like it dry.

Les Sentuers du Quercy are growers based in the department of the Lot, an hour south east of this part of the Perigord in the Midi Pyrenees. I take no money, no 'kickback' for mentioning them, just respect for what they do.

    Musical language . . . I could even understand a bit. I am not sure what is wrong with me, but I am not so fond of bearded iris these days. Beautiful in masses like in the video.

    What a beautiful place. All of those iris! My French is super rusty, mostly I just caught "Old Black Magic", "jardin" and "magnifique". lol

    Gorgeous, gorgeous irises Rob! I played it twice and my somewhat rusty French came back enough to understand the majority of the commentary the 2nd time! Result!

    Are languages more beautiful when you can't understand the meaning so you just listen to the sounds? I watched that video and kept hearing words that I learned the meaning of during my one semester of French, but can no longer remember. It was fun just to listen and watch the pretty flowers. I certainly have plenty of iris in my garden. Love those classic flowers!
